Securing Your Hearing Aids

Dear Patients,

As we continue through the current environment, Ysabel and I am are assisting you with concerns and issues.

We are finding that many of you are losing hearing aids on account of your masks.  We expect that we will be wearing masks into the coming months.  Therefore, it is very important that you are extremely careful when you remove your mask.  A simple solution is to use an eyeglass strap/ holder to keep your hearing aids in place.  Instead of attaching the eyeglass holder to the temple of your eyeglasses, attach to the body of your hearing aid. We understand it is NOT a fashion statement but it will save you a lot of frustration and expense in the long run.

Please click on link below to see a demonstration how to connect hearing devices to your eye glasses strap.

Below are the links to obtain the eyeglass holder:

2.   Amplifiers

If your hearing aid breaks or you lose it, you should have a “pocket talker”.  This is an amplifier.  You can purchase online with different price points.  We are suggesting the following:

NEW! Williams Sound Pocketalker 2.0 Personal Sound Amplifier Hearing Device

Reizen Loud Ear Personal Sound Amplifier - 120dB Gain

3.  TV Ears

If you are having difficulty hearing the TV because you have lost you hearing aid(s) or they are broken, TV Ears is an inexpensive solution.

We Hope you find the above information helpful. Please feel free to contact us for any assistance.

Stay Safe & Healthy
